The UK’s Sector Skills Council for justice

Skills for Justice are a valued division of The Workforce Development Trust group, operating in a unique space within the organisation, supporting a wide range of justice sector employers, and leading on national justice sector research.

The team support employers and national bodies to develop workforce and research strategies to improve and retain skilled staff in policing, probation services, armed forces, fire and rescue, local government, and much more.

Many solutions are delivered for employers as part of the Skills for Justice Membership, a group of like-minded industry-leading organisations, who come together with our workforce experts to deliberate on national workforce issues in the justice sector, and collaborate to find common solutions.

More so than ever before, and as the Sector Skills Council for justice, the team are working closely with criminal justice and community safety services throughout the UK to deliver organisational development programmes and enhance leadership skills for organisations with workforce challenges.
